This piece was commissioned by a couple from Switzerland. On their trip to Kaua’i they walked Ke’e Beach in the mornings. They wanted to be reminded of their lovely morning walks on Ke’e at their home in Switzerland so they asked me to paint it for them. I put my heart and soul into it. Delighted to be spending the afternoon at shipwreck Beach on Kauai. I have my easel set up and capturing the light as it reflects off shipwreck head. The afternoon light is so different from the morning mist as the sun has come up and over the background cliffs. Painting will be available soon to collectors.
